Create a new device Configuration Profile

NOTE: As at June 2020, there are no options to confiugre the Device Configuration Profiles by API or PowerShell.

Device Configuration Profiles allow the Teams Administrator to configure a default set of policies on a phone. These policies include, but not limited to:

• Set the screen timeout period
• Set the lock status and time out
• Change the Language
• Change the Timezone
• Set the date format
• Enable a screen saver
• Configure default network settings; and
• Enable or disable the loop through ethernet PC port

Adding a Configuration Profile

1. Navigate to the Microsoft Teams Admin Portal
   • https://admin.teams.microsoft.com
2. Click Devices > Phones
3. Select the Configuration Profiles tab
4. Click Add
5. Complete the profile as required
6. Click Save
